After all of those performances, the winner of Season 23 of The Voice was finally revealed. This was the moment that viewers were waiting for all season!
Host Carson Daly started by revealing the name of the artist in fifth place. That artist was NOIVAS of Team Blake. He continued by naming the artists in fourth and third place. Those artists were Sorelle of Team Chance and D. Smooth of Team Kelly.
That left Grace West of Team Blake and Gina Miles of Team Niall as the last two contestants onstage. As the two girls held hands and smiled nervously at the crowd, Daly had something to share.
“By the way, this was the closest margin of victory in Voice history,” he announced.
So who won by the closest margin in Voice history? Gina Miles of Team Niall!
Miles’ expression upon hearing her name read as the winner was priceless. You could tell how shocked she was.
Miles started crying and hugged West in disbelief as confetti flew through the air. Horan let her have her moment before he joined her onstage for a celebratory hug. The other members of the Top 5 also rushed onstage to congratulate her.
