USA will face Belgium in a Round of 16 matchup tonight (July 6) with kickoff set for 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) at Lumen Field in Seattle.
The United States have lost six consecutive matchups against Belgium, including an extra-time defeat in the Round of 16 at the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Their only World Cup victory over Belgium came in the two nations’ first-ever World Cup meeting in 1930. If the U.S. wins, they will advance to the quarterfinals for the first time in 24 years, where they will face either Spain or Portugal.
