Emma, a mother of three, battled a huntsman spider in her car and its newly-hatched babies. Emma said she was driving down the road on Christmas day to the gas station in Adelaide, Australia around 9pm when she first noticed the momma spider.

Huntsman spiders typically have around 200 babies at a time.

“As I pulled up, I looked out of the corner of my eye and on passengers side, on the dash was the spider,” Emma told Daily Mail. “I really just stared at it for a while, thinking ‘what am I going to do with this thing?’ I was by myself luckily, my kids would have freaked out!”

She quickly pulled over and removed it and drove off thinking everything was fine. A couple of days later, however, she began to notice baby spiders appearing everywhere in her car. This time the kids were in the car with her.

She was driving 100kmh (62mph) down the road when she managed to get rid of one of the baby spiders while she was driving. She saw a couple more babies and decided to quickly drive the car home. She started searching for ways on how to handle the situation and her husband recommended that she just let off a bug bomb in the car.

When Emma went out to the car to let off the bug bomb, baby spiders were crawling down from the ceiling in mass with their silk and having a party she said. She released the bug bomb in the car and ended up eradicating them all. Take a look at the picture below of the silk strings everywhere in the car that the mist of the bug bomb revealed to the naked eye.
