Thanksgiving 2017, comedian Jeff Foxworthy got together with 30 of his relatives – aunts, uncles, kids, grandparents, and more! When the Foxworthy clan gets together, they love to play card games and at this particular get together, the “kids,” who are now in their twenties, decided to play the popular card game Cards Against Humanity.

The comedian quickly learned that this game was NOT family friendly, and asked the participants to play in the basement, far away from their grandmother’s ears.
This got him thinking.
He wanted to create a similar game that his entire family could play. During a 2018 appearance on the Rachael Ray Show, he explained his process of creating his brand new card game, Relative Insanity. He immediately jotted down 400 punchlines, or just things that sounded funny, and 100 set-ups.
One person will read the start of a joke, or the “set-up,” and everyone else will finish it with a punch line card they have in their hand. The person with the funniest punch line wins.
He explained the game on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and they looked like they were having so much fun!
Foxworthy brought that same insanity to Rachael Ray’s long-running show and boy, are we glad he did. If you thought Fallon’s reaction to the game was hilarious…wait until you see Ray’s!
Just from reading her punch line cards, she was sent into a fit of laughter – and the game hadn’t even started yet! The two played a couple rounds, but one punch line really got to her. Foxworthy set Ray up with the start of a joke, “On the way home from the family reunion, Granny made the comment…”
“I’ve always thought your baby was ugly,” Ray responded. She could hardly get through the phrase without laughing – and neither could we! After the game was over, she exclaimed, “Oh my gosh, my face is hot and I’m sweating!”
After telling the comedian that she would definitely be purchasing several for each of her family members, Ray revealed on Facebook that she is giving some away.
