Jelly Roll Receives Three Grammy Award Nominations

In early November, the Recording Academy announced the list of nominees for the 2026 Grammy Awards, scheduled to take place on February 1, 2026. New this year, they have added a category for Best Traditional Country Album, bringing the total number of country music-specific categories to five.

More than a dozen country artists received nominations across the categories, including Lainey Wilson, Willie Nelson, Zach Top, Chris Stapleton, and more.

Jelly Roll received nods in three categories: Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Amen” with Shaboozey, Best Contemporary Country Album for Beautifully Broken, and Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song for his collaboration with Brandon Lake, “Hard Fought Hallelujah.”

Jelly Roll Gets Emotional, Shares Authentic Reaction To The Nominations

In a new video shared online, Jelly Roll sports his freshly shaven face and gives his honest thoughts after hearing the Grammy news. He says that learning about his three nominations was one of “the craziest things that has ever happened” in his life.

The Tennessee native recalls thinking to himself during his first trip to the ceremony in 2024, “This is the only time I’ll ever be at the Grammys.” Fortunately, he was mistaken and received two more nominations the following year in 2025.

“I don’t care what artists say, I don’t care what artists act like; there is not an artist in the world that didn’t grow up watching the Grammys when they were a kid, and walk in their bedrooms after and rehearse their speech.”

Jelly Roll reflects on God’s ability to take something “incredible and make it absolutely mesmerizing.” He adds:

“Not only did God bring me back here in the best headspace – I’m thinking right about it. But he brought me here with the right kind of message. When I look at these nominations, all I see is God.”

The “Save Me” singer holds back tears as he considers what it means to have his album listed among those of his peers. Tyler Childers, Kelsea Ballerini, Eric Church, and Miranda Lambert are also nominated in the category of Best Contemporary Country Album.

“It’s not even about the album or the nom. It’s about the name… This album called ‘Beautifully Broken.’ And man, if that doesn’t represent what’s happening in the world right now. I think now more than ever, I think we can find beauty in what’s happening.”

Finally, he shares that he feels “honored” and “extremely grateful” to even be considered by the Recording Academy for the awards.
