Jelly Roll is leading the pack among country artists at the upcoming 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards with an impressive eight nominations.

Jelly Roll’s Nominations

Jelly Roll emerges as one of the night’s most nominated artists, securing nods in various categories including Best Rock Song, Rock Artist of the Year, Best New Artist, Country Artist of the Year, Best New Artist (Rock and Alt.), and the prestigious all-genre Song of the Year. His Hulu documentary, “Save Me,” has also earned a nomination in the Favorite on Screen category.

Adding to the anticipation, Jelly Roll finds himself contending for the night’s most prestigious award – the all-genre Artist of the Year. This particular category places him in direct competition with fellow country artists Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen, as well as industry heavyweights such as Miley Cyrus, Olivia Rodrigo, Shakira, SZA, Taylor Swift, and Usher.

Jelly Roll is on a Winning Streak

The whopping eight nominations for the iHeart Music Awards comes shortly after he was nominated at the CMA Awards in five categories, taking home the win for New Artist of the Year. While accepting his award, Jelly Roll gave a powerful and moving acceptance speech that quickly gained attention on social media.

“Most importantly, there’s something poetic about a 39-year-old man winning new artist of the year. I don’t know where you’re at in your life or what you’re going through, but I want to tell you to keep going, baby. I want to tell you, ‘Success is on the other side,’” he yelled. “I want to tell you, ‘It’s going to be OK!’ I want to tell you that the windshield is bigger than the rearview mirror for a reason, because what’s in front of you is so much more important than what’s behind you!”
