Lainey Wilson’s Latest Tour Stop Was A Sold-Out Show In Nashville, Tennessee
On Thursday night, October 2, Lainey Wilson brought her Whirlwind World Tour to Nashville, where she performed for a sold-out crowd at Bridgestone Arena.
Since it was her first time headlining the venue, Wilson made sure the night was unforgettable. She invited some of her country superstar friends to join her on stage throughout the show.
Five-time ACM Award winner Ella Langley was one of the night’s surprise guests. Fans went absolutely wild when she walked on stage to join Wilson for “Good Horses,” a duet originally sung with Miranda Lambert.
Wilson also welcomed Muscadine Bloodline to perform an acoustic version of their collaboration, “Pieces.” Later in the night, she teamed up with Ernest to sing his song, “What If I Could.”
But Wilson saved perhaps the biggest surprise for last when she completely shocked the audience by bringing out Jelly Roll to close the show with their duet, “Save Me.”
“Save Me” was originally released in 2020, but later, Jelly Roll enlisted Wilson for a remix that climbed to the #1 spot on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. Their collaboration went on to earn a Grammy nomination for Best Country Duo/Group Performance and is now certified 3x Platinum by the RIAA.
Jelly Roll Gives A Passionate Speech Dedicated To Lainey Wilson
After their performance together, Jelly Roll ended up taking a moment to sincerely talk to Wilson.
Standing right in the middle of the stage with thousands of people watching, he turned to her and gave a powerful speech about how much she inspires the next generation.
“I want you to know, as a girl dad, what you mean to my family and my daughter and all these little girls in this building.. the inspiration… you are the role model us parents were praying for,” Jelly says as Wilson stands beside him and listens.
He continues, “To encourage these young women to be brave, be bold and share their testimony across the globe, you did that girl. You brought the bell bottoms back in style girl! You made country music cool again! A 66 city Whirlwind tour sounds like the Entertainer of the Year to me! I love you Lainey Wilson!”
The crowd erupted in huge cheers after Jelly Roll finished speaking. He then removed his hat and pulled Wilson into a big hug.

Judging by his kind words, it’s clear that Jelly Roll is cheering for Wilson at this year’s CMA Awards, where she’s nominated for Entertainer of the Year.
She won the title in 2023, and if she wins again, she’ll become only the third female artist ever to take home the award twice.
Not only does she have the possibility of making history, but she’ll also be running the entire show as the host of the 2025 CMA Awards. Last year, she co-hosted with Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning, but this time around, Wilson is taking on the event solo.
