With just hours to go until the CMA Awards begin, one singer has announced he’ll no longer be able to perform.

Jimmie Allen took to Twitter at 1:24 PM to share that he’s feeling “under the weather.” Therefore, he will not be able to perform at the CMA Awards later tonight (November 9). Allen was supposed to sing “Out in the Middle” with Zac Brown Band and Marcus King.

I was looking forward to performing with my friends @zacbrownband and @realmarcusking at the @CountryMusic Awards, unfortunately I’m under the weather and won’t be able to,” Allen said in his message.

Although Allen will not be at the CMA Awards, he’ll still be watching from home. He said he “look[s] forward to watching [Zac Brown Band and King] and the other performers tonight.”

No word yet on whether or not Allen will be able to perform on November 12, which is the date of his next show. He’s currently the opening act on Carrie Underwood‘s Denim & Rhinestones Tour. The two of them also perform together during Underwood’s set. Watch one of their performances below.

We’re sorry to hear that Allen isn’t feeling well, and that he won’t be able to attend the CMA Awards. We’ll be keeping him in our thoughts and hope he gets better soon.
