Any HGTV fan knows that Chip and Joanna Gaines are HUGE fans of the seasons changing and decorating for the holidays. But Joanna let fans in on a little secret with a social media post showing this has always been an exciting time for her…
Joanna Gaines knows how to make the seasons bright. During winter, she brings out the tinsel, lights and snow to create a magical place that could make even a Grinch’s heart grow. Using timeless traditions and hand-crafted pieces, she really knows what it takes to get into the Christmas spirit.
Come spring, Joanna starts bringing in odds-on-ends pieces that really pop alongside understated pieces that allow inspiration to take flight. Her take on fall: keep it cool, keep it clean, and always have fun by using your own passion to make it a home.
Come summer, Joanna and her family are ready to get outside and enjoy their quaint town of Wacco, TX. Her summer style is fresh and cheerful – combining signature picnic pieces and patterns with the fun of summer.
Finally, as the leaves begin to change in the fall, Joanna gets ready for family and friends to join her around their Thanksgiving day table. She takes the idea of giving thanks and celebration to create beautiful tablescapes and delicious food for her guests.
While Joanna loves to celebrate the different seasons and the holidays they include – one thing is for sure: this gal is always on the run! From juggling her own businesses and writing a book to being a mother, Joanna always is creating and dreaming up something new.
But it is nice to know that she still enjoys the simple things in life, like a delicious turkey table. She recently posted an adorable picture of herself from when she was only a year old running to the table.
Joanna told social media that the photo was “Me in 1979 running towards the turkey table. Not much has changed…”
And we wouldn’t have it any other way!
She also gave us a reminder about what this time of year is all about with a post of Baby Crew cuddled up with his big sister saying only one thing – “Thankful.”
