JUST ANNOUNCED: ACM Awards to Feature Stellar Lineup of Performers

The ACM Awards will celebrate their 59th year on May 16th

The annual ACM Awards, known as “Country Music’s Party of the Year,” will return to the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas for the second consecutive year on May 16th, 2024. The evening will be hosted by country music icon and 16-time ACM Award winner, Reba McEntire.

The highly anticipated event promises to “celebrate Country Music’s biggest stars and emerging talent, and feature unforgettable performances, exclusive collaborations, and unexpected moments.”

The full list of nominees was announced on April 9th. Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, Megan Moroney, Luke Combs, Cody Johnson, and Lainey Wilson lead the pack with the most nods this year.

First round of performers announced for the 2024 ACM Awards

This morning (April 29), the Academy of Country Music revealed the first round of performers for next month’s awards show. In addition to her hosting duties, Reba McEntire will take the stage for a “show-stopping special performance featuring brand new music.”

Jason Aldean, Kane Brown, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Miranda Lambert, and Lainey Wilson, who all performed at the 2023 show, will return to the ACM Awards stage this year.

Thomas Rhett and Chris Stapleton round out the first list of performers and add more star power to what is guaranteed to be a memorable night.

Additional performers are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. 

The ACM Awards will be free to stream globally on Amazon Prime Video with no membership required. Tune in on May 16th at 8 p.m. EDT / 7 p.m. CDT to watch the exciting performances and see who takes home the awards!
