In a preview shared to social media Wednesday night (January 10), Kane Brown gave fans a glimpse of a song he is recording for the new album. Brown called it a “heavy song about depression and horrible thoughts and feelings that I feel like a lot of us go through but don’t like to talk about with other people.”
He encouraged his fans, saying: “If you relate to the song at all just know you’re not alone and I love you.”

In the comments of the post, Kane shared some of the song’s lyrics:
While speaking about his previously released single “Memory,” Kane told the host that he always has to be on his “A-game” due to being a celebrity, which can bring an enormous amount of pressure and result in anxiety. He shared that the song is meant to let listeners know that they aren’t alone.
“…it’s hard for an artist to go through depression because for us, we have to be on our A-game 24/7,” Brown said at the time. “If we’re out pumping gas and a fan comes up, and I’m just having one of those bad days, I have to put on a smile and there’s no off time.”
“So it gets a little rough for us because if you have a bad day, they’re going to leave and they’re going to be like, ‘Oh, Kane Brown’s a d***.’ So that’s why I like [“Memory”], especially just saying for everybody that goes through depression or anxiety, you’re not alone,” he said.
While few other details were revealed about Kane’s new song, it is expected to be a song for his new album, that is also unnamed. A release date for the album is also unknown.
