Kane Brown‘s new song “Short Skirt Weather” is a funky summer anthem that brings back a fun 90s country kind of vibe. So when he put together the lyric video for it – he decided to go one step further and make it a true throwback tune.

The video opens with water rippling behind a 90s video game font that is counting down to start of the lyric video. Just as the suspense is about to kill you, the opening scene pops up and you’ll roar with laughter over the hilarious angle he decided to take.

KB even got all dolled up himself with a Ken doll that has a striking resemblance to Brown – tattoos and all. He is wearing a tiny “KB” hat to help identify the doll – as if the unmistakable green eyes weren’t enough.

The video is a visual throwback to all the Barbie nostalgia that was your childhood. Complete with a Barbie convertible, Mermaid Barbies and everyone’s favorite, the Barbie jet ski – the entire video is the coolest doll-themed party your imagination could create. And all the Kens and Barbies in the neighborhood seemed to be invited.
