Bon Secours Wellness Arena Releases Statement After Keith Urban Was Forced To Cancel His Concert There
One day before he was scheduled to perform in South Carolina, Keith Urban canceled the show.
Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, announced on Wednesday (October 15) that Urban needed to cancel his concert scheduled for the following day (October 16).
The Arena said Urban developed laryngitis earlier in the week and was placed on vocal rest. His “longtime laryngologist” advised him to cancel his concert in Greenville.
Urban’s doctor seems hopeful that the “Go Home W U” singer will still be able to perform at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on October 17. The Bridgestone concert will be Urban’s next-to-last show of 2025, followed by a performance at the Boots on the Bayou festival on October 31.
Those who purchased tickets to the canceled Greenville concert through Ticketmaster will receive automatic refunds. Those who purchased from a third-party reseller will need to contact the point of purchase for a refund.
Bon Secours Wellness Arena’s post also included a statement from Urban, which read:
“Hey Greenville, I’m so SO sorry to have to cancel the show…I know all the logistics it takes to get to a concert these days and I’ve never taken any of that, or any of YOU for granted. I’m looking forward to getting back there when we can!!!!!”
Fans Can Soon See Keith Urban On The Upcoming CBS Competition Series, The Road
Although his touring schedule is winding down, Urban has a lot on his plate at the moment, personally and professionally.
On September 30, news broke that Urban and his wife, Academy Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman, were getting divorced after 19 years of marriage. Kidman filed divorce paperwork in a Tennessee county court that day, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
It appears that the pair had already worked out many of the details before the papers were filed. Urban signed the marital dissolution agreement on August 29, and Kidman signed it on September 6.
Neither Urban nor Kidman has commented on their divorce. They’ve continued to be in the public eye, with Urban delivering his first post-divorce show on October 2. Kidman has since attended events in Dallas and Paris (where she debuted a new haircut).

Career-wise, Urban is gearing up to celebrate the premiere of his new competition series, The Road. The show debuts on CBS on Sunday, October 19.
The Road follows 12 aspiring country singers who will join Urban on tour to learn the ins and outs of being a touring artist. The live audiences in each city on the tour vote in real-time for the contestants they want to continue to the next stop. The winner will receive a grand prize of $250,000 and a record contract.
In addition to being the show’s “headliner,” Urban serves as one of the executive producers alongside Blake Shelton and Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan.
“Redneck Woman” singer Gretchen Wilson serves as the “tour manager.” She’ll offer advice to the contestants and be a source of support for them on the journey.
