Keith Urban makes it obvious how much he loves and appreciates his wife, Nicole Kidman. He wrote his song “The Fighter” for her, in which he sings about how he’ll always be there to support her and keep her safe.

“The Fighter” was recorded as a duet with Carrie Underwood. Keith and Nicole also teamed up to share an adorable lip-sync video to the song, which went viral.

Keith and Nicole share two daughters, Sunday and Faith. They don’t post photos of the girls all that often, and when they do, they usually hide their faces.

So when Keith wished his wife a happy Mother’s Day on May 10, he didn’t post a picture of her with their daughters. But he didn’t need to, because his message was sweet enough on its own:

Happy Mother’s Day to Nicole Mary,” Keith wrote on social media. “Our girls are ALL love, color, kindness and compassion, curiosity, and so much more because YOU are all these things …..and so much more.”

He ended his note by writing, “We LOVE you!

Nicole also received a bouquet of flowers from her daughters’ school. She shared a photo of the special gift, and took a moment to recognize all of the other mothers out there.

To all our women out there – to our mums, our grandmothers, our sisters, our daughters, our aunts, our girlfriends – I am so deeply grateful to the women who raise other women, who laugh, and love, and grieve, and befriend, and care, and never, ever, ever give up,” she said.

Happy belated Mother’s Day to Nicole and all of the other moms out there. Hopefully it was a wonderful day for you all!
