Kelly Clarkson’s Son, Remington, Performs Sinatra Classic
During a November episode of her Emmy Award-winning talk show, Kelly Clarkson shined a spotlight on her 8-year-old son, Remington.
Clarkson explained in the November 27, 2024 episode that they were filming on a day where her kids were off school, so they were able to attend a taping of the show.
She told her fans, “Before the show, Remy took a moment to warm up the audience with his rendition of the Sinatra classic ‘My Way.’ You’re welcome!”
The clip was just a few seconds long, but its clear that fans were loving it! The video has over 1.5 million views.
Kelly Shares The Full Performance Video
Clarkson had her kids back on her show for the January 8th episode. This time, they were sitting on the couch with her so she could ask Remy about his performance.
She asked why he chose “My Way,” and he said it was because he loves the movie Sing. For those without young children, Sing is a animated movie franchise starring Matthew McConoughey, Reese Witherspoon, Tori Kelly, Scarlett Johanssen, and more.
They all voice animals who love to sing. One character, Mike, is voiced by Seth MacFarlane and sings standards, including “My Way.”
Clarkson said that Remy sings this song in his room all the time, and her daughter, River, confirmed this to be true.
“I can’t even count how many times,” River added.
Clarkson also told the audience that Remy was quite interested in how many views his video got, and even ask his mom, “Is it more than what you get?”
Everyone got a good laugh from that! Luckily for us, Clarkson then played Remy’s FULL performance of “My Way” on social media.

During the performance, Clarkson was beaming and some of the notes he hit even made her jaw drop!
After he sang his final note, Clarkson rushed to stage to give him a big hug. You can tell she was so proud of him!
