Kenny Chesney Reveals Where He Stands On Love In Rare Comments About His Dating Life

Kenny Chesney isn’t completely ruling out the idea of finding love again someday.
The country music star recently appeared on CBS Mornings with host Gayle King. Their conversation briefly shifted to the possibility of Chesney putting himself out there and finding love again.
“Oh yes, no question,” he said.
When King asked whether his past relationships ending so publicly had made him hesitant to try again, Chesney was very clear that he still has a positive mindset about it.
“Oh, no. No, not at all,” he clarified.
King then suggested that she could help Chesney find somebody. He laughed and said she’d been a good advisor, even though King pointed out that he’d passed on all of her suggestions so far.

Chesney isn’t one to go into detail about his dating life, though. For most of his career, he’s rarely discussed the topic publicly.
Over the last two decades, the only relationships fans have known about were with actress Renée Zellweger and Mary Nolan.
Chesney married Zellweger in 2005. The couple’s marriage was short-lived, and they divorced just four months later.
As for his relationship with Nolan, the timeline is a little less clear. She and Chesney had been together since around 2012. She made several appearances with him at different events and award shows over the years.
In his memoir, Heart Life Music, Chesney briefly mentioned Nolan and said they drifted apart at some point, though he didn’t say exactly when.
They still seem to be in each other’s lives in some way, even if they’re no longer romantically involved. Chesney has said they continue to care for their dogs together.

Chesney may be open to finding love again, but for now, he seems focused on his career and all the big things happening in his life.
On September 25, he released his 21st studio album, Silver Sands Marina. Not long before that, he also announced his 2027 tour, which will include an impressive lineup of artists.
Chesney will be playing stadiums across the country with Eric Church, Sheryl Crow, Greylan James, and Old Dominion on select dates for the Original Vibe Room Tour.
He’ll kick off the 19-show tour on April 24, 2027, at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, and wrap things up on August 28 at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts.
