Kid Rock To Open New Restaurant In Nashville
Kid Rock is opening up a brand new restaurant in Music City.
As many know, he’s no stranger to the Nashville business scene. His bar Kid Rock’s Big Honky Tonk Rock N’ Roll Steakhouse is one of the most popular spots on Broadway.
Now, the country/rock star is launching a brand-new project, and this time, he’s taking inspiration from his hometown of Detroit.
It was recently announced that Kid Rock will be opening a seafood restaurant called The Detroit Cowboy. The new spot will be located at 500 11th Avenue North, near the Capitol View neighborhood in downtown Nashville.
The new restaurant is a collaboration between Rock and Joe Vicari. Vicari is a Michigan restaurateur who brought the iconic Joe Muer Seafood back to life in 2011.
Now, he and the “All Summer Long” singer are coming together to bring the same fine-dining experience to Nashville’s food scene.
But, according to Rock, this won’t be your typical fine dining. His goal is to create a space where people can have a high-end experience, without the pressure that usually comes with upscale restaurants.
The official slogan of the establishment is “Go where you’re celebrated, not tolerated.”
“The Detroit Cowboy isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a culinary ride like no other, where like-minded folks who love this country can dine in style,” Rock said in a press release. “Whether you wear a bow tie, a bolo tie, or no tie—it’s all good.
What You Can Expect At The Detroit Cowboy
Kid Rock has also shared some details about what future guests can expect when it comes to the restaurant’s look. The space is filled with some of his personal memorabilia. This includes items that he has collected from music legends over the years.
“I re-designed this place to share some of my favorite milestones and personal artifacts, cool gifts and mementos from legends like Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Eminem, Bob Seger, and Motown to name a few, plus a few wild stories of my own as well as nods to musical heroes like Aretha, Stevie and both Hanks of course. The Detroit Cowboy is the only place on earth where Detroit grit and Nashville swagger collide for the finest dining hangout. To put it simply, I am here to take the foo-foo out of fine dining.”
The Detroit Cowboy will offer both lunch and dinner menus that have high-end dishes like a Rosewood American Wagyu strip, prime steak tartare, and a shareable seafood tower.
To pair with it, the restaurant will also have a curated wine list made by Napa Valley wine sommelier Scott Herrmann.
Kid Rock’s new restaurant, The Detroit Cowboy, will celebrate its grand opening on June 3, with an invite-only event in Nashville.
