The Robertson family is on cloud 9!

On October 14, the Duck Dynasty family grew by one when John Luke Robertson (Willie and Korie’s oldest son) and his wife welcomed their first child together, a son named John Shepherd.

They didn’t announce his arrival until October 16. John Luke’s wife, Mary Kate, announced the news with a series of photos on Instagram saying, “Robertson family of 3!!!”

Not long after, she revealed his name, which was on a sweater the newborn was wearing in her second Instagram post of him.

Now that mama has posted the news of John Shepherd’s arrival, so can everyone else! John Luke posted on Thurs (Oct 17) saying, “Welcome to the world, John Shepherd!”

Proud Grandma Korie was probably itching at the chance to share her elation with her followers, which she did Thursday as well.

“Welcome to the world John Shepherd Robertson!” she captioned the series of photos. “Thanks for coming a little early. You knew we couldn’t wait another day to meet you!! You’re mom and dad are amazing! You hit the jackpot with those two, and the rest of us, well we just can’t stop staring! We love you more than you can imagine. I am so proud to be your K-mama.”
