Krystal Keith Carries On Her Father Toby’s Legacy As A Patriot And OU Sooners Fan
Country artist Krystal Keith had the honor of performing the National Anthem at the 2024 Armed Forces Bowl. The performance was perfect for the 39-year-old singer, who is a devoted patriot like her late father, Toby Keith.
Also like her father, Krystal is a lifelong fan of the Oklahoma Sooners. She attended OU, as did her sister Shelley and brother Stelen.
Back in June, Krystal performed the National Anthem at a Sooners softball game. A video of her performance has generated over 930,000 views on Facebook.

Krystal cherishes every opportunity she has to sing the National Anthem. But it was extra meaningful when she was asked to perform the Anthem when the Sooners played against the Navy Midshipman in the Armed Forces Bowl on December 27, 2024.
“Excited to be at the @armed_forces_bowl to sing AND support my Sooners!” Krystal captioned a photo she shared on social media before her performance. “The stars have aligned for me today.”
Krystal Keith Earns Praise For National Anthem Performance At Armed Forces Bowl
As expected, Krystal delivered a stunning rendition of the National Anthem at the Armed Forces Bowl. She performed a cappella, which gave her powerful voice the chance to shine.
Right before Krystal started singing, a group of people unfurled a giant flag on the field. It served as the backdrop of her beautiful performance.
Toby’s team shared a video of Krystal’s performance on his social media pages. They captioned it, “We’re sure Toby would’ve said ‘That’s my girl!’“
Krystal received a lot of praise in the comments. Fans left sweet messages such as:
