The viral lip sync challenge that’s taken the nation by storm just got even better. The Middletown, Ohio Police Department may have grabbed the lead in what promises to be an epic battle to the finish.

“You really didn’t think we were going to sit back and not participate in the #lipsyncchallenge, did ya?” the Middletown Division of Police chided their competition via social media. These officers not only accepted the challenge, they SLAYED it!

BRING IT!

“There are some good ones out there so we needed to ‘BRING IT’,” the officers shared. And, bring it they did.

In a mic-dropping, tongue-in-cheek production featuring Lady Antebellum‘s popular “Need You Now,” these protectors of peace created a spectacular display of lip-syncing, good humor and mad acting skills.

Taking on the stereotype of law enforcement’s love of doughnuts, this performance will have you rolling on the floor in laughter. Fans everywhere are praising the production. Nothing was left unnoticed.

All For A Smile

In case the public was concerned about their “tax dollars at work,” the officers added a footnote to their Instagram post: “We hope you enjoy it (the video) as much as we enjoyed making it. As for anyone complaining about tax dollars at work, each employee took literally 30 minutes or under to do this, most came in on their own time. It’s a messed up world right now, so we just wanted to give you a smile…”

Lady A Approves

Even Lady A thought the Middletown video totally rocked! Does it get any better than this?

Drop The Mic

With nearly two million views, this particular video just set a new high bar for the departments yet to accept the challenge. So, get ready friends at Fairfield PD. You’ve just been challenged by this incredibly creative crew.

Ready to roll? Sit back and get ready for some chuckles.
