Lainey Wilson Proves Herself To Be A Queen Of Country Music
2025 was quite the remarkable year for country star Lainey Wilson, as she has won multiple awards and released a number of new songs.
The country singer took home four new Academy of Country Music Awards, including Entertainer of the Year, making her the first woman in more than 10 years to win the title two years in a row!
Lainey also joined forces with Reba McEntire and Miranda Lambert to collaborate on the song “Trailblazer,” a track that celebrates the influential female artists of country music’s past and present.
Last Novemebr, she hosted the CMA Awards on her own, without a co-host. Lainey became only the third woman in CMA history to serve as the ceremony’s sole host, following in the footsteps of Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire.
In addition to dominating the music world, Lainey has also proven herself to be a savvy businesswoman.
The “4X4xU” singer launched her own boot line, Golden West Boots, in June. At the time, she introduced the new “Artisan Crafted” collection in a video shared to Instagram.
Lainey has also worked closely with major lifestyle and fashion brands, most notably Wrangler, collaborating on a line of jeans and apparel that pays tribute to her unique style.
Lainey Honored On USA Today’s 2026 Women of the Year List
And it looks like 2026 is continuing in the same direction for Lainey.
On Monday (March 2), USA Today updated their 2026 Women of the Year honorees, and listed at the very top was Miss Lainey herself!
“Grammy winner Lainey Wilson (here before a concert in Brisbane, Australia) is a singer, songwriter and actress from a small town in Louisiana, population 170. She skyrocketed to fame in 2022, winning the Country Music Association’s new artist of the year award that year,” the outlet wrote.
USA TODAY’s Women of the Year is an annual recognition that honors women across the United States who have made significant contributions to their communities, industries, and society at large.
Congratulations to Lainey Wilson on earning another incredible honor!
