Lainey Wilson & Husband Duck Hodges Make The Sweetest Couple

Lainey Wilson and her husband, Devlin “Duck” Hodges, have been together since 2021 but kept their romance private for quite some time before sharing that they were together. Hodges has built a successful real estate career since retiring from the NFL in 2022.

It wasn’t until 2023 that they made their public debut by walking the red carpet together at the ACM Awards. In February 2025, they announced that they were engaged with a sweet set of photos from the special moment.

The most important part of making it work, according to the “Somewhere Over Laredo” singer, is simply setting aside quality time for one another.

“You have to definitely carve out the time,” Wilson previously said. “It has to be something that you’re very aware of, and you’re like, ‘Okay, I’ve got a day off here in 10 days. I’ve got to dedicate that day to spend time with my person.”

Wilson and Hodges officially tied the knot on May 10, 2026 with a breathtaking ceremony and reception at Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee.

Instead of her signature bell-bottoms, Wilson stunned in a custom-made gown by Oscar de la Renta. She completed the look by wearing her hair long and loose, swapping her usual cowboy hat for a classic bridal veil.

Lainey Wilson Shares Hilarious Video Of Attempted Dance With Husband Duck

Wilson frequently shares videos featuring Hodges, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at their relationship. One thing is clear from the couple’s posts: the newlyweds know how to have fun together.

On Tuesday (July 28), the country star posted a hilarious video of the couple attempting to learn a dance to her newest track, “Phone, Keys, Wallet.”

Wilson explained previously that the song reflects the whirlwind of life on the road and the comfort of finding someone who loves and accepts you through it all.

Hodges took the reigns in the video, assuring Wilson he had the choreography down and was now the one teaching the superstar. After the two playfully fumbled between the moves, Hodges then tells Wilson they need “actual music.” She then jokes that she “is the music.”
