LeAnn Rimes Addresses Rumors She’s Joining The Real Housewives Franchise

LeAnn Rimes isn’t interested in making the jump from singer to reality television star.

Recently, rumors have been circulating that Rimes was in talks to join The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. However, the 43-year-old has quickly shut down any talk of her appearing on Bravo anytime soon.

A clip from The Morally Corrupt Bravo Show podcast, hosted by Bachelorette star Rachel Lindsay, recently circulated online, where she discussed the rumors.

The video eventually caught Rimes’ attention, who then responded.

“Omg, dying!” Rimes wrote. “No, no…. no housewives for me.”

“Playing dixie on 911 nashville is drama enough for me,” she added.

Rimes is referring to her lead role in the hit series 911: Nashville, where she plays Dixie Bennings, a single mother and struggling backup singer.

It’s understandable that the “Blue” singer already has her hands full with that role, especially since the show has been renewed for a second season.

Production is said to start this summer, and the new episodes are expected to air sometime in fall 2026.

The interest in having Rimes join the Real Housewives franchise isn’t entirely random. Many people have linked her to the show before due to her past connections to former RHOBH cast member Brandi Glanville.

Rimes is married to Glanville’s ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.

They were married for nine years before separating after it was revealed that Rimes and Cibrian had started a relationship while still married. At the time, Rimes was still with her former husband, Dean Sheremet.

After hearing the rumors about Rimes possibly joining RHOBH, Glanville shared her thoughts on social media. In a post shared to her X account on May 6, she wrote:

“I hope it’s true about RHOBH I mean she got everything else of mine- husband, kids, boobs, bronco, random illnesses she might as well just be a housewife and finish it off once and for all”

Despite what the fiery comment may imply, Glanville, Rimes, and Cibrian have actually managed to co-parent and get along over the years.

Back in 2021, Glanville appeared on the Hollywood Row podcast and shared that they had worked through their issues.

“I think our kids had a lot to do with it,” she said, “because the kids love when we’re all together, and it’s so obvious. They’re so happy. They’re giddy little creatures.”

“I guess I just forget sh*t, she continued. “I’m just fine with it. We both love Eddie’s parents. We both love the kids, and Eddie’s going to be in my life for the rest of my life.” She added, “We bicker still like we’re married when we’re not. We’re like sister wives. It’s me and LeAnn and Eddie.”
