Luke Combs’ Fiancee Finally Shares Photo Of Stunning Engagement Ring

2018 might have just been one of Luke Combs‘ most eventful years. With several of his singles taking over the country charts and winning Best New Artists of the Year at two different award shows, the country singer is on his way to country fame. Aside from his massive chart-topping hits, Combs also got in engaged to his long-time girlfriend, Nicole Hocking. Love is in the air Nashville!

Combs and Hocking’s love story started back in 2016 before Combs had made his rise to fame. The pair met while Hocking was working at BMI in Nashville. Combs told PEOPLE there “was no publishing deal, no record deal, no booking deal.” He continued, “Everybody was like, ‘Yeah, this is never gonna work, and so I didn’t have anything when we met.”

A New Chapter

Little did Combs know, just one year later he’d be taking over the country charts with his heartbreak anthems. Nonetheless, there is no heartbreak in his real life! Combs and Hocking took to Instagram last week to announce their engagement. With the beautiful Hawaii islands as their backdrop, Combs admitted their proposal had happened elsewhere.

“She said yes a while ago but this is a way better place to take pictures than the kitchen. Can’t wait to spend forever with you!”

Hocking – who posted the same photo on her Instagram – gushed over her new engagement in a similar fashion.

“You’re stuck with me forever!!”

With full hearts and bursting with love, it’s no doubt these two were made for each other.

The Story Behind The Ring

As fans patiently waited to see the ring, Hocking posted a photo on Thursday showing off her gorgeous new accessory. Alongside the photo, Hocking told the story of the ring in the most heartwarming caption.

“I always said if I was to ever get married, I didn’t want to pick out the ring or go ring shopping. I wanted it to be something that when he saw it, he knew that it was the one… & boyyyyyy did he out do himself. I never thought a ring could mean so much to me.”

Who knew Combs was such a romantic?! Well, he definitely knows how to make his future bride a happy woman.
