Combs let the news of his deluxe album sit with fans for a little bit before he shared an intriguing tidbit about the record.

In a post made on September 2, Combs let fans know they’ve already heard three of the five new tracks that will appear on What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. That means that two of the five new tracks have never been heard before!

This may come as a surprise, but just wanted to let y’all know 2 of the 5 songs coming out Oct. 23 on the deluxe are ones y’all have NOT heard, yet…” Combs wrote on social media.

Two brand-new, unheard songs from Combs? That’s surprising news indeed!

Speaking of surprises, Combs was recently surprised to learn that he is up for Entertainer of the Year at the 2020 CMA Awards. Combs was actually tasked with helping Carly Pearce read off the nominees for some of the categories, and was on hand when she read his name as an EOTY nominee.

Combs was understandably thrilled, and exclaimed “alright!” when he heard he was up for the CMA’s most coveted trophy. Watch his reaction below.

The CMA Awards are taking place on November 11, just a few weeks after the release of What You See Ain’t Always What You Get!
