Luke Combs dropped a new song across all music platforms and it’s about something almost every country music fan can relate to right now.
The song is called “Six Feet Apart” and gives listeners insight into his perspective on the global pandemic. Luke explained in a recent Instagram post,
“It’s about the current times and us looking forward to the day all of this is over.”

The song is from the perspective of a musician who misses being on the road and playing shows. It talks about how even though we don’t know how long this pandemic will go on, one day we’ll all be together again enjoying concerts and shows.
The 30-year-old from North Carolina has the unique talent of being able to write a song about virtually anything. Luke co-wrote the song with Brent Cobb and Rob Snyder and was able to record and release it while social distancing.
Luke also posted the lyrics of the chorus on Twitter.
I miss my mom, I miss my dad
I miss the road, I miss my band
Giving hugs and shaking hands
It’s a mystery I suppose
Just how long this thing goes
But there’ll be crowds and there’ll be shows
And there will be light after dark

On May 1, 2020, Luke did a live stream, and Miller Lite joined forces to support bartenders across the nation who were temporarily out of work.
.@MillerLite was coming on as a tour sponsor, but for now, we’re joining forces virtually. Join us for a live stream on May 1st at 8 PM EDT to support out-of-work bartenders nationwide. If there’s one thing that can bring us together, beer can. pic.twitter.com/0Dm5i5wdxB
