Luke and Nicole kept Tex’s name a secret until he was born. But Nicole did share a hint about his name in a Q&A session on her Instagram Story.

It’s a family name but also pretty unique I think,” she said.

Nicole also shared it wasn’t a simple task for her and Luke to choose a name for their son. She said, “picking a boy name was extremely difficult” for the two of them.

Now that Tex is here, fans have been curious to know the meaning behind his name. Nicole offered some insight during another Q&A session on her Instagram Story on Wednesday (July 6).

Nicole said that their son’s first and middle names both have family ties. She said Tex is the name of Luke’s great-uncle and her father’s name is Lawrence.
