The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department said that a man was arrested and charged with a crime on Saturday (April 16) after falling through the ceiling of a women’s bathroom in a bar on Broadway in downtown Nashville.

Police said that the man being charged is 24-year-old Jesse Kloot, who was arrested at the Honky Tonk Central bar located at 329 Broadway.

After falling through the ceiling in the women’s bathroom, he was immediately detained and then transported to jail. The question is…what was he doing creeping above the women’s bathroom?

Authorities said that they are not entirely clear on what circumstances led up to the incident happening, but they do know that he climbed into the ceiling from the men’s bathroom and crawled over to the adjoining women’s restroom before falling through.

They also said that Kloot was heavily intoxicated and ended up causing about $2,000 in damages to the ceiling, which he’ll have to pay for.

He was charged with felony vandalism because the damages were over $1,000. He has since been released on bond and police say he has a court date set for May 27.

ABC News did a full report on the incident covering the story and you can watch the full video of that below!
