Jason Hibbs is the proud owner of Bourbon Moth Woodworking, in Albany, Oregon, and he just took mowing the lawn to next level. Since people aren’t really buying furniture right now, Hibbs had some free time to get creative with a home project.

Using his woodworking skills, Hibbs turned his lawnmower into a fully-functioning tank with real working treads, front lights, an operational cannon that fires potatoes, and, the best part is that it still mows the grass.

The video starts with “America The Beautiful” playing somberly in the background while Hibbs narrates,

“We’ve all been there. You’re driving your lawn mower around and all of a sudden you think to yourself, ‘I wonder if I could turn this thing into a tank.”

The 3 minute video shows a plain riding mower and a time-lapse of Hibbs building a frame around it. You can see the tank take shape fairly quickly and after a coat of green paint the project looks almost done. Hibbs then makes treads and attaches them and the tank is complete.

The video shows him crashing through a fence, firing the potato cannon, and of course – mowing the lawn.
