Country music trio Midland have postponed their upcoming tour due to an undisclosed medical emergency. The group shared the news on social media Friday saying that the emergency involved lead singer Mark Wystrach’s newborn daughter. They added that the baby, Sundance ‘Sunny’ Leon, was expected to make a full recovery, but Wystrach couldn’t be away from home until that happens.

Details of Sunny’s birth have yet to be shared by Wystrach and his wife Ty Haney, but both have taken to social media with pictures of the newborn, and it appears that she has received a clean bill of health.

“It’s been a wild and unexpected week in the hospital, but we are all doing great and loving being together!” Haney wrote on Instagram. “So grateful for our amazing doctors and nurses who have taken the best care of us and to our friends and family for all the love, prayers and support! The power of love and positivity is real. Lil Baby Sunny girl is strong, beautiful and an absolute joy! We’ve gotten a clean bill of health and we’re going home tomorrow.”

Wystrach and Haney married in October after a five month engagement and year-long courtship. Wystrach shared their pregnancy news on Instagram in July, saying, “Soo excited to announce @ty_haney and I are having a baby girl ?? in November!”

Midland has become one of the genre’s hottest groups thanks to their double Grammy nominations in 2018 and their ACM New Vocal Duo or Group of the Year win in the same year. Their sophomore album Let It Roll, debuted atop the Billboard‘s Top Country Albums Chart when it released in August.
