Miley Cyrus’ Terrifying Near-Death Experience Left Her Mom Crying

In a brand new podcast episode, a terrifying ordeal that could have resulted in a tragic accident was revealed by one of the Cyrus sisters – and the details are truly chilling.
Miley Cyrus’ older sister Brandi Cyrus opened up about the near-death incident while she and Miley with their mom Tish Cyrus were all headed to the U.K. for the Glastonbury music festival.

An article by Entertainment Tonight details Brandi’s conversation with the Your Favorite Thing podcast where she explains that when their jet tried to land in the U.K. things got really scary – and it shook up everyone, especially their mom.
“Out of nowhere, as we’re landing, we swoop back up and like bang to the left and turn. It feels crazy,” Brandi explained, saying that her mom, Tish Cyrus, and Miley are “very nervous fliers, and when they get nervous they just feed off of each other – and just make each other more nervous.”
But this drastic change in the plane’s flight path wasn’t just for any old reason. It was a serious maneuver – and if the pilot wasn’t paying attention…it could have ended in tragedy.
“They just start losing their minds,” she continued. “And even though I’m scared, I was like, ‘Someone has to be level headed here’… so, Miley’s in my lap, my mom’s holding my hand across the aisle… and nobody is telling us what’s going on.”
More than five minutes pass before they get any information as to what’s happening – and surely that five minutes of terror felt more like 30 to all of them.
“They finally come back and tell us, ‘No need to panic but somebody was in our lane in the sky and we were going to hit them,'” Brandi said. “That’s terrifying to think about.”
But, this wasn’t the end of the flight problems – and with all the stuff going on, it had her mom in a fit of terror, worrying about her beloved family members back home in the states…especially her youngest daughter, Noah.
“My mom starts crying and goes, ‘If we die, Noah is gonna be alone’ and freaking out. I’m trying to hold it together for everybody,” she went on. “It was really crazy.”
Strangely enough, just over ten minutes later, when the plane is trying to land again – the same thing happened with another plane in their path.
Luckily, they all made it safely on the ground not too long after – albeit shaken and upset.
