Two days after Valentine’s Day, Miranda Lambert shocked the world by announcing she “got hitched!”

She shared the happy news along with two photos she posted to Instagram. The lucky man is named Brendan Mcloughlin, and Lambert couldn’t help but gush about him in her post.

In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news,” she wrote. “I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full. Thank you Brendan Mcloughlin for loving me for…. me.

The photo has over 21,000 comments of well-wishes and congratulations from fans and peers in the country music world. A few people have taken it a step further and sent the couple floral arrangements, including Boot Barn – the store that sells her clothing line Idyllwind.

One gift that surprised Lambert herself because of how much she respects the singer. That person was Tanya Tucker.

Lambert shared a photo of the gorgeous bouquet of white flowers, which was accompanied by a note that read, “Miranda, When You’ve Got Love, You’re Sitting On A Gold Mine. Congratulations To You And Your Husband. All My Love, Tanya Tucker.”

When one of your heroes sends you flowers ?,” Miranda wrote on the image.

Clearly, Lambert has been a huge fan of Tucker’s for many years, even performing her 1978 hit “Texas When I Die” during her stint on Nashville Star. Watch that performance below.
