Morgan Wallen has achieved a rare feat in country music history!

Billboard recently reported that Morgan Wallen has scored his fourth No. 1 song of 2024 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart with his duet with ERNEST, “Cowgirls.” The new track is Wallen’s 14th Country Airplay No. 1 and ERNEST’s first as a recording artist.

Fans have clearly loved the new song from Wallen. Many left praising comments on the official lyric video on YouTube.

“This song is by far my favorite out of the new ones.”
“MORGAN. DONT. MISS.”
“This is my favorite song from him it makes me feel so free and happy.”
“I listen to it like 20 times and I’m still listening to it.”
“Morgan and Ernest is always gonna be a hit.”

Securing his fourth No. 1 in a single year has put Wallen in an exclusive club with only two other members: Luke Combs and Garth Brooks.

Wallen’s success marks only the third time in history that a country artist has had four songs reach No. 1 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart in only one year. Luke Combs did it in 2021, while Garth Brooks achieved it twice, in 1991 and 1993.

What sets Wallen apart is that all four of his No. 1 hits this year are collaborations, showcasing his versatility and appeal across different styles within country music.

Garth Brooks is actually the only singer to claim the accomplishment as a lead artist on each track.

Morgan Wallen’s music has already been pretty hot this summer, securing him multiple accolades.

In June, he broke Taylor Swift’s record for the most weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s all-genre Hot 100 chart this decade. And at the beginning of July, he set the record for the highest attendance at a country concert ever in the UK. Earlier this year, Wallen’s One Thing At A Time album also became the longest-running No. 1 country album in Billboard 200 history.

Safe to say, Morgan Wallen is a force to be reckoned with.

See what the leading songs are that secured Wallen, Combs, and Brooks this accomplishment!
