Indigo “Indie” Wilder was born on Friday, July 10, 2020 to Morgan Wallen and his former girlfriend KT Smith. The country singer shared the news three days later via social media.

“I’m a changed man. Since you came into the world Friday, I see mine differently now. It’s not just me anymore, and I’m glad it’s not. This year has been the hardest of my life in so many ways, but that’s not what i will remember it by. You are. You are a gift and this tough year just made sense. I’ll be the Dad you deserve as well as the co-parent your mother deserves. Since you were born, I know that every decision I make will be with you in mind. I promise I’ll always protect you, and do my best to be an example of a good, godly man just like my daddy was for me.”

A few days later, Wallen shared another photo of the newborn, captioning the photo, “Little sleepy guy.”

Since then, Wallen hasn’t shared a single photo with his son, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t thinking about him, or vice versa. For Halloween 2020, Smith dressed little Indie up as his country-singing dad, and the resemblance is uncanny!

On June 8, 2021, Wallen posted a brand-new photo with Indie, who turns one next month. The father-son duo can be seen cuddling in a chair. Wallen captioned the photo, “1 more day to be my little kids dad…lord knows I’m a lucky man.”

It’s clear there is a lot of love between the two of them, as they are both leaning into each other and seem to be cherishing the moment together! Check out that photo below.
