NASCAR Driver Kyle Busch & Wife Samantha Expecting 2nd Child

After years of infertility, NASCAR’s Kyle Busch and his wife, Samantha, are expecting their second child.

According to People, Kyle and Samantha have struggled with infertility for eight years. They used IVF to conceive their son, Brexton, who is six years old.

After Brexton was born, the couple dreamed of giving him a baby sibling. But the road to welcoming Baby #2 was not an easy one for the family. They have suffered many heartbreaks along the way, including a miscarriage and a failed IVF attempt with a surrogate.

The couple got their hopes up earlier in 2021 after Samantha attempted to get pregnant via an embryo transfer. But that transfer was unfortunately unsuccessful.

After suffering so much loss, Kyle and Samantha were overjoyed to announce they are expecting their second child, a baby girl, via surrogate. They shared the news along with an emotional video that shows them telling Brexton he is finally going to be a big brother.

The Busches surprised their son by leading him to a stunning rainbow made of flowers and balloons. They handed him a small box, which contained a lime as a representation of how big his baby sister was at the time.

Then, Brexton took out a sonogram, and instantly knew what that meant. He was so happy to learn he’s going to be a big brother!

Baby Girl Busch is due to arrive in May 2022.

“Some of the most beautiful things in life come after heartache and a whole lot of prayers,” Samantha wrote on social media. “We have dreamed of this day being able to make Brexton a big brother and getting to tell him the exciting news FINALLY was one of the most special moments in life. Thank you everyone who has supported us on our journey and did not give up hope just like we didn’t. We are so beyond grateful that we have the most amazing GC [gestational carrier] to help us complete our family. We are forever humbled and appreciative to her and to all of you that have sent us so many encouraging messages over the years.”

Kyle and Samantha thought it would be meaningful to have Brexton share the happy news with their family and friends. He did so by driving a pink car past all of their loved ones that said “Big Brother” on it.

“Once we finally knew it was really going to happens we really wanted this announcement to be most special for Brexton,” Samantha said. “When we talked to him about how he wanted to tell our family and friends he of course wanted it to be something with racing so we ran with it!”

After receiving so many congratulatory messages, Samantha took the time to thank her followers for their kindness and support. She shared a batch of photos from the day they shared their pregnancy news with Brexton, and wrote:

“I can’t thank you all enough for your sweet comments these past few days and your prayers and encouraging messages over the years. The power of social media is truly amazing, I have been able to connect with so many of you in similar situations for advice or you all have brought me hope and support in the hard times. Truly, thank you with all my heart for loving on me and my sweet family!”
