Passengers Flying Into Phoenix Join Together In Singing “Amazing Grace” To Honor Charlie Kirk
Political commentator and podcast host Ben Ferguson flew from Houston to Phoenix on September 20, the day before Charlie’s memorial service. As the plane prepared to land, the passengers joined together to sing “Amazing Grace” as a tribute to Charlie Kirk.
Ferguson recorded a short clip of the passengers uniting to sing the beloved Christian hymn. At the end, you hear one of the passengers exclaim, “For Charlie!” before others start clapping.
The video has generated over 2.9 million views since Ferguson shared it on Facebook.
Ferguson offered more insight into the moment during a later interview with FOX News. He said instead of just singing the most well-known verse of “Amazing Grace,” the passengers sang all of the verses.
He said, “The plane erupted in clapping” after they finished singing. Watch the video below to hear Ferguson speak about the moment when his fellow passengers sang “Amazing Grace” for Charlie Kirk.
