The Famed Singer’s Birthday Was Reportedly Disrupted By His Estranged Son

On Sunday, May 3, Frankie Valli, the singer who is best known for his work with the band The Four Seasons, celebrated turning 92.

However, the birthday was not without conflict, as the police were reportedly called to Frankie’s home that day … twice.

According to PEOPLE, the Los Angeles Police Department first responded to a 911 call at Frankie’s home around 5:05 p.m. on May 3.

Allegedly, Frankie’s eldest son, Francesco, 38, violated a restraining order that was leveled against him in 2024 by Frankie and one of the singer’s younger sons, Emilio, 36.

By the time police arrived, Francesco was not on the scene and police could not find evidence of a crime.

PEOPLE cited an incident report it obtained, which noted there had been “banging on the door demanding entry,” allegedly committed by Francesco.

By 5:14 p.m., an LAPD air unit cleared the scene.

However, within one minute later, another 911 call was made from the home of Frankie, again, citing Francesco as violating the restraining order.

No arrests were made in the series of incidents.

Of the situation, a representative for Frankie told PEOPLE, “This is a private family matter, and it was resolved before the authorities arrived.”

More On The Restraining Order

Back in 2024, the restraining order was reportedly filed against Francesco, with TMZ reporting that court documents look to Francesco having “erratic behavior” stemming from suspected drug use.

Allegedly, Francesco had sold some of Frankie’s possessions to support his drug habits.

Frankie had reportedly financially cut off Francesco months before an incident led to the filing of the 2024 restraining order.

The restraining order is presently set to expire on April 29, 2027…

Notably, the group The Four Seasons is the subject of the hit Broadway musical Jersey Boys, which Clint Eastwood adapted into a film in 2014.
