“Princess Bride” Director Rob Reiner & Wife Michele Found Dead Inside Los Angeles Home

“Princess Bride” director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele, were found deceased inside of their Los Angeles mansion Sunday (December 14), TMZ reported. The outlet reports that the two suffered wounds consistent with a knife attack. Authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were dispatched to the residence in the 200 block of South Chadbourne Avenue around 3:38 p.m. following a call for medical assistance.
According to reports by KTLA, responders then located the bodies of a man believed to be about 78 years old and a woman believed to be about 68 years old inside the home.
“We’ve confirmed the house does in fact belong to the ‘Spinal Tap’ director, though we do not know the identities of the deceased at this time,” TMZ said at the time.

Reiner is an American actor, director, producer, and political activist who has been a major figure in Hollywood for decades.
He first became widely known as an actor in the 1970s for his role as Michael “Meathead” Stivic on the classic TV sitcom All in the Family. He later found greater success behind the camera, helming several iconic films, including “Princess Bride” and “When Harry Met Sally.”
Reiner is the son of legendary comedian and filmmaker Carl Reiner. In addition to his entertainment career, he has been active in political advocacy and founded American Foundation for Equal Rights, which played a key role in challenging California’s Proposition 8.
Reiner has been married to Michele since 1989, and the couple share three children together.
