What Was Hulk Hogan’s Official Cause Of Death?
The investigation into Hulk Hogan‘s death remains open, even though his official cause of death became public knowledge in late July.
Hulk Hogan died on July 24 at the age of 71. First responders arrived at the former WWE star’s home earlier that day in response to a report of cardiac arrest. He later died at 11:17 AM that morning. At the time, Clearwater Police Major Nate Burnside didn’t report any signs of foul play.

Brooke Hogan Raises Questions About Her Father’s Death As Investigation Remains Open
However, an investigation into Hulk Hogan’s death remains open. His daughter, Brooke, has some questions about the circumstances surrounding his passing.
Hulk and Brooke had an estranged relationship before his death. Although she didn’t attend his funeral, she shared her love for him by taking her kids to the beach.
Brooke has also been vocal about making sure Hulk’s death is thoroughly investigated. Posting on her Instagram Story on August 20, she said “professionals” have told her she needs to see the police body cam footage from the day of her dad’s death.
She said “…[those who] were supposedly with my dad on the day of his death [have been] telling ME I need to see body cam footage and I need to get a hold of the 911 tapes because they supposedly contain information that could potentially shed enough light to change the narrative.”
Brooke added that those who’ve talked to her, “feel so passionately about what they witnessed, they have continued to contact me and push me to find specific answers to this very day.“
Brooke said her brother, Nick, informed her that an autopsy would be performed on their father. But she vowed to keep the autopsy results private.

Could Medical Malpractice Play A Part In Hulk Hogan’s Death?
Hulk’s wife, Sky Daily, told TMZ Sports on August 21 that an autopsy had been performed, but she declined to share the results. However, Sky did share that her husband’s phrenic nerve was “compromised” during a surgery before his death.
As the Cleveland Clinic details, the phrenic nerve “makes your diaphragm contract and expand, letting your lungs inhale and exhale air.” If Hogan’s phrenic nerve became “compromised” and damaged in some way, he could have potentially been the victim of medical malpractice.
In a statement to TMZ Sports on August 21, the Clearwater Police Department said the investigation into Hulk Hogan’s death remains open.
“We have been in communication with family members — including his son, Nick, and daughter, Brooke. The unique nature of this case has required us to interview multiple witnesses and seek medical records from a variety of providers, and our detectives continue to do that. All of this takes time.”
