Ree Drummond’s Daughter Opens Up About Her Wedding Day Fears

It is “Wedding Week” for Ree Drummond’s daughter, Alex, and in a live video for The Pioneer Woman’s Instagram, Alex opened up about some of her wedding fears.

The bride-to-be confessed that Ree was the “mastermind” behind much of the wedding planning. Due to Alex being out-of-state, she was unable to taste the food for the venue. Ree also found the venue for the ceremony.

“It’s an outdoor ceremony. We’re planning on having no cover. No shields…And then the reception is going to be in a tent,” Alex described.

Since the ceremony is an outdoor event, the weather is a big concern for Alex. Even though the reception area will have a cover, the tent does not have any protective walls. Since Alex does not have a backup plan for bad weather, the bride-to-be admits that the family has checked the weather “religiously.”

“We have been checking the weather a lot, because it’s kind of all riding on the weather.”

Alex admitted that two weeks out, the weather was looking stormy. Now, the forecast is looking more optimistic, and the family expects a sunny day. Alex admitted:

“I’ve been praying like every single day. I know it’s probably like…a selfish prayer, but I’ve been praying for good weather, because it would kind of be a disaster if it was like raining or…tornado…Which would not be out of the picture for Oklahoma.”
