In 2001, anyone who followed the WWF knew about the huge rivalry between Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock. WWF fans loved when the pair came together to belt out their threats to one another – including behind the mic, in the form of country music lyrics.

In this throwback video, the pair spout off to one another, with The Rock asking Steve Austin if he likes country music. The Rock begins to sing a few lines from “The Gambler” by Kenny Rogers.

Then, The Rock turns to the crowd to ask them if they want to see a duet between the two.

The pair team up to sing “Margaritaville” by Jimmy Buffett, and make a few modifications along the way.

At one point, Steve Austin sings, “Some people claim that there’s a Rocky to blame,” and The Rock responds, “It was all Stone Cold’s fault.”

The chemistry between the two has the audience cracking up, and there’s no doubt that the pair had a great time coming up with this segment behind the scenes.
