Remember When Faith Hill Flawlessly Sang Patsy Cline’s “Crazy” On Live TV?

In 1995, Faith Hill gave what would become one of her most talked-about television performances ever. It was the night she sang Patsy Cline’s classic song “Crazy.”
It all happened during an episode of Loretta Lynn and Friends. The show was a seven-week series hosted by the country legend that aired on The Nashville Network, which later became known as CMT.
Some country music fans may not know that “Crazy” was actually written by a young Willie Nelson. Patsy Cline turned the song into a hit in 1961, when it reached No.2 on Billboard’s Hot Country Singles chart and also crossed over to the pop charts as a Top 10 single.
It became the biggest song of Cline’s career before her tragic passing. In 1992, “Crazy” was officially inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
To this day, it’s still considered one of the greatest country songs ever recorded.
The televised performance was a defining moment in Hill’s career. She was only in her 20s at the time and hadn’t been in the spotlight for very long. Lynn and music icon Brenda Lee joined her to make the tribute even more special.

Where Is Faith Hill Now?
In recent years, fans haven’t seen much of Faith Hill. She’s mostly stepped away from the public eye, aside from a few rare appearances, like going out to watch her daughter Audrey perform.
Hill’s last album, The Rest of Our Life, was released in 2017 as a collaboration with her husband, Tim McGraw. Her last major concert came in 2018 during the couple’s joint Soul2Soul world tour.
Hill has spent the past few years focusing on her family life. Last year, fans also learned that she had been dealing with some health issues.
During one of his concerts in October 2025, McGraw told the audience that his wife had undergone several surgeries, including five neck surgeries and a couple of hand surgeries.
