Riley Green Had A Big Night At The 61st ACM Awards
The 2026 ACM Awards took place on Sunday night, May 17, and for country heartthrob Riley Green, it turned out to be a very exciting evening.
Riley took home the ACM Award for Music Event of the Year for “Don’t Mind If I Do” with Ella Langley, and he also returned to the ACM stage for the first time in six years to perform his single “Change My Mind.”
However, one thing many fans were especially eager to see was whether Riley had brought a date.
The question was on everyone’s mind, considering all of the attention that Riley’s love life received at the CMA Awards just six months ago.

At one point during the 2025 CMA Awards, Riley and Ella went on stage together to accept the Single of the Year award for their duet “You Look Like You Love Me.”
Well, during their acceptance speech, the camera briefly cut to Megan Moroney, and her subtle reaction immediately caught viewers’ attention.
That small moment led to a lot of online chatter, with people wondering if there was tension between the three, even talking about a possible love triangle. Nothing has been confirmed, but fans have continued to speculate that Riley has had past relationships with both Ella and Megan.

On top of that seemingly awkward moment, Riley did arrive at the CMA Awards with a date. He attended the ceremony with influencer Bryana Ferringer.
It didn’t take long for rumors to start that they were dating. However, Riley clarified that they were only friends.
“Its gonna be tough to tiptoe out of having a date to an award show. Yeah, I mean, you go to award shows all the time, and I’m always by myself, or I’ve got like, a security guy, or a buddy with me, so I took a friend with me to the award show,” he told Backstage Country in an interview last year.
“We had a nice time,” he continued. “My mom’s gone with me before. So it was my first or second award show date ever. I guess I’ve gotten big enough this is a really big issue, you know?”

After all the chaos at the CMA Awards, it looks like Riley decided to keep things simple this time. He did not bring a date with him to the 2026 ACM Awards.
He walked the red carpet solo, stopping for photos and interviews along the way. Inside the venue, he spent the night sitting with friends in the industry, like Shaboozey and Blake Shelton.
During a pre-show interview with ExtraTV, Riley confirmed that he didn’t bring a date with him. He cheekily said that the reason was because Shania Twain was hosting the show.
“Well Shania Twain’s here so I’m not bringing a date to this,” he joked.
