Riley Green Earns 4 CMA Nods — But Still No Solo Nomination

The 2025 CMA Award Nominations Were Announced On Monday (Sept. 8)
In a YouTube livestream, the Country Music Association announced the nominees for the upcoming CMA Awards, which will be held on November 19.
Ella Langley, Megan Moroney, and Lainey Wilson tied for the most nominations with six each.

Langley is nominated for New Artist Of The Year, Music Video Of The Year, Musical Event, Song Of The Year, Single Of The Year, and Female Vocalist Of The Year.
Her Music Video, Song and Single nominations are for her duet with Riley Green, “you look like you love me,” while Musical Event is for “Don’t Mind If I Do,” also with Green.
Despite the individual songs she is nominated for is with another artist, she still received two solo nominations.
The duo won Musical Event Of The Year at 2024’s show for “you look like you love me.”
Despite Getting Four Nominations, Fans Believe Riley Green Was Snubbed This Year
Riley Green did receive four nominations, for Musical Event of the Year, Music Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Single of the Year, but fans were shocked when they realized he didn’t receive a single solo nomination…again!
In fact, his only solo nomination, which he won, was Top New Male Vocalist at the 2020 ACM Awards. Every other award nomination has been with another singer.
In 2024, his only nomination was for Musical Event with Langley, which they won.
Green’s album Don’t Mind If I Do was released on October 18, 2024, making it eligible for the 2025 CMA Awards.
The album includes the aforementioned hit song “Don’t Mind If I Do,” his steamy song “Worst Way,” which has over 23 million views on YouTube, and the poignant track “Jesus Saves.”
