Riley Green Struck With An Object While Performing On Stage
On Saturday, March 14th, Riley Green was performing on stage in Melbourne, Australia, for his Cowboy As It Gets tour. Near the end of his set, the “Worst Way” singer was struck in the side of the head by an object hurled at him by an audience member.
Green paused for a moment before removing his guitar and asking that the house lights be turned on in the venue. According to other attendees and multiple videos shared across social media, it was a cell phone that was thrown from the crowd.
After identifying the assailant, Green told security to “get his fat a** out of here,” and the man was forcibly removed. As he resumed his performance, fans noticed a stream of blood running down his neck from the apparent injury. However, he stayed on stage and finished his set.
