Riley Green Stopped Mid-Song To Have Security Escort Out Unruly Fans
On Friday, April 4th, Riley Green was performing at the Coca-Cola Coliseum on his Damn Country Music Tour.
He played 21 songs, including his three encores, “I Wish Grandpas Never Died,” “Dixieland Delight,” and “Should’ve Been A Cowboy.”
The final song before his encores for this tour was his new hit song “Worst Way,” which caused quite a stir when he released the music video due to its sultry content.
He was in the middle of singing “Worst Way” when he had to stop the song to adsress something he saw in the crowd.
“Hey, fellas, hey, hey! Tell the dumbass with no sleeves to turn around and the other guy,” Riley said instead of singing the lyrics.
He continued, “Hey, is it that important? Y’all want to fight? Let’s just go over here and do it. Y’all two want to fight? Come up over here and do it. Come on now. You go beat the sh*t out of each other out back; I got a couple more songs first. Kick his ass out of here!”
After handling that situation, Green restarted “Worst Way” for his fans who weren’t fighting each other.
Riley Isn’t The First Singer To Stop A Fight
Green isn’t the first person to throw unruly fans out of a concert, and he won’t be the last.
Morgan Wallen, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan, Zach Top, Carly Pearce, Sturgill Simpson, Scotty McCreery, and many more have stopped shows to kick out concert-goers.
