Savannah Guthrie Shares Emotional Mother’s Day Tribute To Her Mom, Nancy
Savannah vows to “never stop looking” for her mother.
This Mother’s Day was an especially difficult one for Today host Savannah Guthrie, as it marked her first without her mother, Nancy.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing on February 1 after family members arrived at her home in Tucson, Arizona, and realized she was nowhere to be found.
After investigating the situation, authorities determined that the 84-year-old had likely been abducted in the middle of the night.
Footage later released by the FBI showed a possible suspect outside Nancy’s home that same night. The person of interest was wearing a ski mask and appeared to be trying to cover up the Nest camera on her front door.
More than three months have passed now, and there are still no answers about where Nancy could be or who may have been involved in her disappearance. But her family has continued searching for her every step of the way.
On Sunday, May 10, her daughter, Savannah, shared an emotional tribute to her mother, where she vowed that she and her family will not stop until they get answers.
The post included several videos and photos of Nancy. The montage shows special moments that she has had with friends and family over the years. In the caption, Savannah wrote:
“mother, daughter, sister, Nonie – we miss you with every breath. We will never stop looking for you. We will never be at peace until we find you.
We need help. Someone knows something that can make the difference. Call 1800CALLFBI. You can be anonymous and the reward remains available.
Please keep praying. Bring her home. 💛”

Last month, Savannah returned to the anchor desk on the TODAY show after taking leave following her mother’s kidnapping. Just a few weeks earlier, she sat down with her close friend Hoda Kotb for her first interview since the investigation began.
During the conversation, Savannah opened up about why she decided to return to work even with so much uncertainty still surrounding her mother’s case.
“It’s hard to imagine doing it because it’s such a place of joy and lightness, and I can’t come back and try to be something that I’m not,” Savannah said. “But I can’t not come back, because it’s my family. I think it’s part of my purpose right now.”
She continued, “I want to smile. And when I do, it will be real. I will have joy. And my joy will be my protest. My joy will be my answer. And being there is joyful. And when it’s not, I’ll say so. And I have been so grateful to have this family. I consider this my family, my greater family. When times are hard, you want to be with your family. And I want to be with my family.”
Savannah’s husband, Michael Feldman, also took time to honor Savannah as a mother in a separate Instagram post.
He shared a photo of her hugging their two children, Vale (11), and Charley (9).
“To the strongest person I know,” he wrote. “Surrounding you with love on Mother’s Day.”
The Guthrie family is still offering a $1 million reward for information that leads to Nancy’s discovery. Tips can be submitted anonymously.
The FBI is also offering a $100,000 reward. Anyone with information has been asked to contact the FBI tip line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).
