While he was out of town on his Seasons Change Tour, Scotty McCreery returned home to something no one should have to deal with.

After dropping his highly-anticipated fourth studio album, Seasons Change, in March 2018, fans were patiently waiting to find out when he would be going on tour to support his album that debuted at number seven on the Billboard charts.

Well, he revealed that tour – with special guests Jimmie Allen and Heather Morgan – in August 2018.

He just finished up the last leg of his tour in Boston, Massachusetts and Westbury, New York and returned to Nashville to something he wasn’t expecting – his truck was broken into.

He shared a photo of the mess the robber left in his front seat with his fans on social media.

Get back to Nashville to find my truck broken into.. just want to apologize to whoever did this… You really picked the wrong country singers truck to break into. Got nothing for ya… That is, unless you’re a big fan of Elvis or the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack,” he captioned the photo on Twitter.

Luckily McCreery didn’t keep anything valuable in his truck, but it is still scary that someone broke into it!

The robbers are probably glad McCreery’s new guard dog wasn’t around. Moose McCreery was welcomed into the family around the new year and has been making a splash on Instagram.
