Scotty McCreery’s Wife Gabi Shares New Photos Of Son Avery

Scotty McCreery and his wife Gabi welcomed their first child, a baby boy, on October 24. They named him Merrick “Avery” McCreery in honor of Gabi’s father, Merrick “Tre” Dugal.
“Never known a love like this…Merrick ‘Avery’ McCreery joined us 11 days early on October 24th at 4:34am!” the couple shared in a joint statement on social media. “7 lbs 13oz of nothin but love…Thank yall for all of your prayers during this exciting season of life! Healthy baby and a healthy mama! Praise God.”

Scotty and Gabi have since celebrated their first Halloween and Thanksgiving with their son. They also took him to one of their favorite places, North Topsail Beach in their home state of North Carolina.

Avery is a little over a month old now. His mama Gabi celebrated this milestone by sharing some new photos of him on Instagram.
“Looking back on our first month (and a half) with our sweet boy,” she wrote in the slideshow’s caption. The first two pictures show Avery in a Winnie-the-Pooh onesie that says “Mommy’s Little Honey.” This onesie has a special meaning for Gabi, since her baby shower was Winnie-the-Pooh themed.
At the time of her shower, she said, “So so thankful for the sweetest family and friends, little beignet and I felt all the love yesterday…here’s to hoping he loves Pooh as much as I do.”
The other photos Gabi shared in her new slideshow depict her and Scotty snuggling with Avery at home. There’s also a photo of the three of them outside of NC State University’s football stadium. You can see all of the adorable photos below.
