DJ Daniel Was Falsely Reported To Be In The ICU Following Brain Surgery

Despite reports of him being in the hospital following brain surgery, “Special Agent” DJ Daniel posted that he is doing just fine and on his way to New Jersey.

Reports began circulating late Monday, claiming Daniel was in serious condition in the hospital following the latest round of surgery on his brain and spine.

His father took to the young man’s social media page to set the rumors straight, saying Daniel was preparing to travel and not in the ICU.

“FYI: The media is circulating incorrect information, stating I am undergoing brain surgery and in ICU, etc. I am grateful for the continued prayers, but I am not currently undergoing surgery and am preparing to travel to the Cliffside Park Police Department in New Jersey tomorrow. Thank you all,” Daniel’s Facebook page posted Tuesday.

DJ Daniel’s Incredibly Courageous Journey

Daniel is an incredible 13-year-old from Houston, Texas, who has captured the attention of the nation for his courage in battling terminal brain cancer. Diagnosed in 2018 and originally given just months to live, he has defied the odds, undergoing several brain surgeries and surviving far beyond his initial prognosis.

The boy joined President Donald Trump earlier this year during a joint congressional address, and was honored as a special Secret Service agent.

DJ’s dream of becoming a police officer has touched hearts across the country as he has been sworn in as an honorary member by more than 900 local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies.

Daniel’s Most Recent Diagnosis

Daniel most recently made headlines after his father announced that he is sadly battling three additional tumors.

“He does have three new tumors. It’s rough. There isn’t a class that can teach you how to deal with it. You’re hearing that your child has a nasty disease,” he said.

Although they are unsure of how long the young boy has left on this earth, Theodis said they are doing everything they can to continue making an impact.

“We’re just going around showing people, ‘Hey, you do care for one another. Let’s give compassion and let’s try to join and help each other get through things,’” the father said.
